I was reading mr pap's post about determining the size of a pumpkin before this has bloomed.
Is this right?

shape yes ,size? no. i mainly look to eliminate any completely round baby pumpkins because those are the ones that could go wheel. also the tall narrow ones can go table top, etc. i want the egg shaped fruit.
unfortunbately if all on main are of the undesirable shape eventually ya gotta roll the dice and go for it.
nothing can be allowed to effect getting the fruit pollinated for the right growth cycles.
