i put my plants out a week ago and noticed today that they are starting to get all white and funny looking?
i dont get it? the plants had grown so nice for the last three months in my bedroom.
i watered them really good the other night just before going to bed. the temp was in the high thirties in the morning so i dont think that was it? ( although it did feel just a tad cool but i attributed it to me being out there in my jammies.
i also hardened them off for a couple hours before planting so thats not the problem either.
i think its just a dud seed. what do you think?
im not going to grow anymore of those jutras seeds.

Did you forget to put miracle grow in the planting hole and did you inject the young stem with milk?

I would pick up a WalMart baby moniter. If you look hard enough you may find the Walmart baby moniter and the WalMart baby wipe heater sold as one. Theres something fishy going on out there Pap.

Since you are posting that in the new growers forum some people might think your serious... pretty funny though.

I would like to know how many people use miracle potting mix. I don't think it is as bad as some make it out to be. If I remember correctly (I could be wrong ) In the sngpg 2008 growing dvd one of the growers had a monster bag of miracle potting mix in there dinning room and said they added that into the seed starting mix.

I have used miracle potting mix moisture control for my seedings 2end year running and had no issues. I think where the problem comes into play is when people are fertilizing when they are using the mix, since the mix is pre-fertilized they or over dosing there plants. other then the mix i do not use any fertilizers till the vine is down and running.

let me hear your opinions on this.

Reimer Seeds will not honor their guarantee if you use Miracle Grow Potting or Starter Mix... You can have serious problems with the fertilizer in most of their mixes with sprouting and starting AG's.

Best to get any other sort of good soiless sterile potting mix and use that. [to PumpkinPicker]
