Do I open the cold frame in the morning to let the warm air in or keep it covered.

I open mine up ...the temps can go well over 100 degrees fast on a sunny day...even if it is only 65 degrees. If the temps are in the low to mid 50's track the temps inside for a few days and get a feel for how much heat they hold..different styles hold heat differntly. I like 85-90 degrees..I would side on the cautious side..it only takes one scorching to put you back 2 weeks...or worse. Hope this helps..Mark

Go by your night temperatures, and past your frost date. Pumpkins really like temps above 50....
