When growers distribute there pumpkin seeds, they come in the little manilla envelope with sticker on it telling what the genetics are in the envelope. My question is where do growers get the sticker with the genetics on it made up. some where one the internet? print shop? just curious, hoping on having good genetics next fall.

Richard, your correct. They make them on there on. You can buy the labels at any office store and then print them on line off of several web site's.

I've used Avery Design pro for years. It's a free download. http://www.avery.com/avery/en_us/Templates-&-Software/Software/Avery-DesignPro-for-PC.htm

Richard,
If you just want to print just the seed information, you don't need the download. Most growers use the white labels that come 30 to a page. The most common use is for return address labels. The box I have is called Easy Peel White Mailing Labels (made by Avery) ( size of each label is 1" X 2 & 5/8").
However, if you want to have a picture of the pumpkin on the label, then the free Avery download is the way to go.
Good luck!

If you have Microsoft Word, you can print from the Envelopes and Labels tab.
