Season is about over for me. Slow growth or none on the five I have left in the patch. Would like to keep one for Halloween.
How do I keep them from spoiling until fall, or at least a couple of months?

Keep cool and out of the sun once you cut off the vine. field pumpkins can keep a year if they dont get too warm

I gave one (big max) 2 years ago to one of my sons class rooms in October. They had it until early May until they had to get rid of it. The kids were bummed.
