I have a soccer ball size fruit at 6 feet. Recently, 3 more females have appeared further down the vine at 9 feet, 11 ft and 12 feet.Should I cull my soccerball size fruit and try to get something going further down the vine, or is it too late?

It is getting late. Just leave them all on the vine and grow them all.

I would pollinate the 9ft fruit and let it grow until at least day 10. Cull the other two. Assuming the stem and shape is good on the second pumpkin, watch the growth. If it is as good or better than the first was at day 10, cull the first fruit. It is getting late to do this but the second fruit at 9 ft will likely outgrow that first pumpkin. If the first pumpkin has established good nutriant flow and is strating to take off, it won't allow the second one to amount to anything anyway. I find in most cases these pumpkins will abort on their own anyway, but it is worth a try!

You may need to take a gut check here and just cut the one at 6 feet. Over the long run, it will not grow as big as the one at 11 or 12 feet. But there is always the chance that the 11 or 12 feet pumpkin aborts and you have nothing at all. All said, you probably can not keep the one at 6ft without seriously risking causing the others to abort.

Oh man I really don't want to cut my only fruit, especially at this point in time. I believe the seeds I planted may have been big max, so if thjey are really not AG's they wouldn't get that big anyway. What to do!!

I agree with you listfisher and I would want to see the other two set and growing well before I cut off the one at 6'. If it is BIG MAX, you should get more than one from that plant anyway. with two more possibilities, do what Trailor said, let'em grow!
