My yellow pumpkin is starting to show a hint of orange at the blossom end. Do pumpkins typically start 'oranging up' in that area first?

Could be either or both ends if memory serves.

I notice Colour starting at the stem end along the ribs, before the blossom end. I am not saying it is wrong , just what I have noticed.
