I'm a firstyear, and I've realized that 4 BigMax plants in a 10ft by 20 ft. enclosure is too much plant in too little space. Anyways, I have one 7-day old pumpkin the size of a really big grapefruit, and lots of green caterpillars that laugh at Sevin spray. I've resorted to smashing the little buggers by hand, which makes me a little queasy. Any suggestions? allthumbs

I have been using ortho max and have been getting good results. You just put on the end of the hose and spray.Make sure you follow the directions.Good luck in fla.you have a lot of insects there and no freezing temps in the winter to kill them off.Dont give up.you can beat them
