Does anybody know what causes it & what to do about it???
It's on my biggest fruit & on a smaller one.

Were you ever able to get a pumpkin set on your Big Moons? It seems you weren't the only one having that kind of pollination problem. Check out this thread.

Yes , I was able to get about 6 set , but some have that split.........thanks for reply.

the pumpkin is split?
or the nub is split?
if you can, a picture would help.

Tha pumpkin itself is split open about 1/4" wide about 1/2" back from the nub........this split started the day after pollination & has been getting worse......I had no idea what to do about it.......the others aren't so bad......the one with the big split looks like it's starting to rot......I plan to remove it this evening & then take pictures of how bad it is..........since I'm new to this forum , how do I post a picture???
