Years attempt at growing these Dill's Atlantic Giants.

Last year was the first year.
This year I tilled the whole area as deep as I could. I then spread 2-3 yards of Mushroom compost in the area and tilled it all in.

This year the secondaries and main have grown significant roots every section of the vines. This year I buried a lot of the vines and the main. This year i caught SVB earlier and have delayed the resulting damage.

I don't have 10 day measurements, but the large one on the smaller plant visually appears larger every day, as well as the one on the left (in the picture) of the larger plant.

I took some advice and fertilized with 36-6-6 (only thing I could find close to the recommendation). It was this http://www.acehardware.com/product/index.jsp?productId=1334273

I need to cut the males off and hit them with 7 dust tonight and some lime.
