I pollinated my frist female this morning. I noticed last night that a female was ready to open, so I went out first thing this morning pollinated. It was @ 6:00 a.m. The female was about 75% open. Is that going to screw me up or should things go o.k.? This past 2 weeks and the next week to follow are probably my busiest weeks of the year! I just want to make sure I get one going, and these next few days are critical.

Sounds like it is OK to me.

That female @ 9 ft is now 10 inches around. Hopefully it keeps on going. Today I found those dreaded cucumber beatles stirring around the patch, the good thing is they are nowhere near my plants only surrounding the patch.
