What type of miracle gro should be used after the setting of pumpkins.

No kind. Go natural with seaweed, fish, etc. But if you must, something that stresses more K than N and P.

I disagree with Jordan on this. If you are a new grower and your patch is basically unamended, Miricle grow can privide nutriants that you won't be able to get otherwise. All natural products like fish and seaweed, provide lots of nutriants, hormones and oils that do really work, but they lack the horsepower needed in a low organic matter, unamended soil.
After your pumpkin is set, you can use a high nitrogen water soluable like 35-5-10. apply under the canopy if possible with your water, once a week. I have used 2-4oz of water soluable per plant per week at that stage.
Switch to a high potassium product, late in August or early september. Too much K to early on in the fruits developement will cause premature ripening.

If I have only two females and fruits the size of large marbles, should I still apply a high nitrogen now??
