All of my plants have become infested by tiny lil black ants. Every female that opens just has billions in them. Now I am only growing for fun , but they make it not fun! I also feel like they are preventing pollination. Any cheap tricks or tips. I have searched the web but all the things I have found have failed to protect my plants. Perhaps they are just very determined!

Pour Diatomaceous Earth on their trails (a slower organic way), otherwise spray em' with malathion (in the coolest part of the day while wearing gloves and a mask).

mix 1/2 sugar and 1/2 Borax (laundry soap)
Sprinkle where you see ant activity.
They carry it back to nest and bang!!
Must reapply after rain or moisture event.
