How do you keep the pollination cool and for how long?

fill 2 liter soda bottles with water, freeze them solid in the freezer. When you pollinate place a bottle (or 2) right beside the female and put a shade cover in place. I'd leave the ice on at least the whole day that first day. But be sure and always keep the fruit shaded.

Dido what Mark said. If it's really hot you might want to put fresh frozen bottles next to your female in the morning and switch with fresh ones in the afternoon. I usually have to do that when it gets above 100 degrees.
