I MUST SAY THERE HAS BEEN A TREMENDOUS INFLUX OF NEW AND NEWER GROWERS OVER THESE PAST COUPLE YEARS.
MANY WILL NOT RETURN FOR A SECOND OR THIRD SEASON BECAUSE OF ONE WORD F A I L U R E.
ITS SUPPOSED TO BE FUN GROWING A GIANT PUMPKIN AND IT CAN BE IF YOUR NOT AFRAID OF HARD WORK AND HAVE MASTERD A SYSTEM HOWEVER, AFTER READING A LOT OF POSTS THIS YEAR I FEEL A BASIC "HOW TO" PUBLICATION IS NECESSARY.
I REMEMBER BACK MANY YEARS AGO A MAN FROM THE NEGPGA WROTE A BASIC HOW TO BOOK (WITH DRAWN DIAGRAMS) THAT WAS OF GREAT HELP YO US.
THIS WINTER I WILL PUBLISH MY OWN BOOK "DICKS TIPS" AND WILL MAKE IT AVAILABLE FOR A NOMINAL FEE. IT WILL NOT HAVE ALL THE FANCY COLORED PICTURES AND A GLOSSY PRINTED COVER BUT WILL BE ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW TO BE A SUCCESS.
ANY INTEREST ? IF SO I WILL GLAD TO ACCOMODATE THE NEW AND NEWER GROWERS

Would love it! Especially on pruning and feeding. Seems to be a good topic. Also bug patrol. Seems to be multiple questons over and over on some of these same topics.

tips will be pretty much soup to nuts just the way ron and i do it. nothing left out .
id also include a "most frequently asked questions" section.
which on this site can be as simple as what does a male (flower -lol ) look like to how do i best balance my soil
not to worry if i do it it will be done right and explained as to the whys and why nots as well. which is very important.
its not always enough to know how we do things but rather why we do them?
a portion will also go to the ORANGE ANGEL FOUNDATION coats for kids fund

You can count me in, and as for failure I am already planning stuff for next year, I have already got more joy out of these plants than I thought I would and I haven't even set a female "succesfully" yet. I think failure is one of the best parts of growing these guy's or anything for that matter. Like someone else said "what's love without pain"
