Not sure how to do this but my vine is growing too much for its space.

leave the main vine alone,do not cut it.i cut my secondaries at about 8 to ten ft.

Do you have a pumpkin set and growing on the main? If so there is nothing wrong with terminating the main if you are running out of room. Once your keeper is off and running there isn't a whole lot of need to grow a lot of main vine past that point. If you can get at least 12' sides before terminating that would be optimal.
