I have 3 AG's in the ground. On two of them, the first leaves(the ones that pop out of the dirt first) are wilted, but the first true leaves are nice and green. Are these plants dying? The other one is doing fine! I have a Home Depot purchased giant still in a pot in the house and that baby is taking off! As for the 3 AG's I planted as back-ups 5 days ago, none have popped yet. I want to blame the weather, but should I blame myself??? I have done alot of research and spent alot of money to get this going. Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Will put up some pics tomorrow in my diary. If anyone can look and take a guess, that would be great!

I put pics up in my diary. They should be viewable late today or tomorrow. Could some experienced growers look and offer advice?

pap is about as experienced as they get, if your "real" leaves look good u r good to go. you will not be able to stop your plants soon.

I've had the same issues with my plant. The immature roots just can't keep up with the vines on a hot day. I was given the good advice of keeping some water on the plant being careful not to get the soil overly saturated. I've found that a mid day spray on the leaves with a spray bottle can help a little. Once the root system catches up with the plant it will just explode over the next couple of weeks.

Be careful putting water on the leaves during the day when the sun is high. You can burn your leaves this way. As far as experienced growers are concerned Gary is right...they don't come any more experienced than PAP!!! Listen to his advise and don't second guess it!

Things are starting to look a little better, but still slow going. The seed leaves on the worst of them have pretty much disappeared, but the rest of the plant looking a little better. As long as that is really not an issue, I will just continue on my way and wait to pull the monster of the vine in the fall! Thanks for all the feedback from all!
