I have some very nice Connecticut River Veally soil, it looks nice, my veggies did good in it last year, but I don't know squat about PH and other stuff.
What would be the best thing to do as far as testing (and how)

Get soil samples done....your local county AG will help ya...take some samples send them in and you know what to do.
