All three of my babies are above the soil... The 880 reinsvold is having a lil hard time... but I think she will be just fine... I will have their bed ready today... (or atleast the soil flipped over) Slow going on that because i am using a neumatic and a shovel... So all manual labor here...

Good luck with your plants. I was a newbie last year and worked really hard on my patch. I also put lots of prep time in plus a lot of work in the growing season. I ended up with nothing. A stem split ended my season in August. I think persistence is key. Dont give up even if it goes badly wrong. Theres always a "next time"
Hope it goes well this year for you.

OMG... I have one that is growing very rapidly... its already started its second true leaf.... The sad thing is that i lost the package and don't know what seed it is... Also my 1068 Rahe 07 is doing great... its my slow grower... in for the long haule... lol... as for the reinsvold... I think its pretty much a loss... Not really any action from it :( I have know clue what to do... so any help anyone wants to give is great... I have my patch dug up... and they could be planted... but I need to know what to add to the soil... so its not such a shock to the plants... I wonder if i should just mix in a bag of the soil i used to pot them to the soil outside?? No Clue... If ne one has any advice I greatly appricate it... Hope that everyone else is having a great year...

Since your soil is new and has never been used for gardening before and has not had a soil test taking a shot in the dark. Your nitrogen will be low for sure. P and K are unknown. Rather than do nothing I would add a balanced fertilizer like 12-12-12. Organic matter will be very low also so add anything that has Om. Manure, peatmoss, mulched leaves, potting mix, coffee grinds.
