Subject:  Side vines 12' out?

On these side vines that you cut off at or around 12' out, do you put anything on the end that you cut off to prevent disease?

You could use a little Daconil but most folks just bury them and they seem to do fine.

Let them stick out in the sun for a day to dry then bury them.

Last year many the side vines I cut and buried kept growing out. Had to re-cut and bury again.
Will leaving them out a couple days help prevent this?

It should. The cut end dries fast, then bury.
