Subject: Field Pumpkins??

I was asked ,"...Looks like you're growing field pumpkins...". Am I being kicked in the H2O can, or just told my kins are too small??? What constitutes "Field Pumpkins". I'm growing 4 AGs & 1 Big Max plant. Most of the fruit is over 100#s. Will I ever be a "Giant" Grower, or will I be stuck in the "Field" FOREVER!!! WAAAAAAA HELP Little Sprout!! WAAAA!! kevin

Seeds.....Field pumpkins have hard green stems, start out green turn orange. Now a Cucurbita Maxima of the Atlantic Giant Variety Start out yellow and turn orange, salmon, white or green.

Thanks. I don't remember any green except the leaves. All the other colors have been met. I do actually have 2 salmon colored ones on a lowes AG, very round but hardly growing. YEAH!!!Maxima!!! thanks kjk
