You can but if plants were sprayed with systematic insecticides would it be that healthy for one to eat?

Yes, Yes, and NO...There is a procedure for getting seeds to Australia from the US. Otherwise if you declare them pumpkin seeds they are seized and destroyed at the border. Your best bet is finding an australian grower.
