First year grower here -- I only have one fruit that will even make it to my front porch, BUT the entire vine is in the late stages of powdery mildew death. The stem seems to have it now. Will this kill or rot my pumpkin if I leave it on the vine? I'm leaving for the next week and don't want to return to find my only good-looking guy is gone. Should I harvest now? I've seen this question asked before but I don't feel like I've seen a real definitive answer. THANK YOU!

PM won't hurt the pumpkin. Leave it on the vine as long as you can.
Welcome to BP.
