I usually figure 70, some will shut down early others continue to grow up to 100 days. I wish that those that measure weekly would give supply us with numbers beyond 70 days.

Climate is a factor it seems. One prominant grower on the westcoast, recently stated that they get continued growth well into Oct. Last year my pumpkin was still growing after 80 days, but not much according to the measurements though. This year I want to see if I can detect any growth on the measurements, between days 80 and 90. It may be that the pumpkin is adding weight, even after measureable growth has stopped. Possibly adding interior wall thickness.

Jack's 1315 from 2006 was 387.5 ott day 81 (Sept. 17). Day 108 (Oct. 14 - day harvested) it was 410 ott. So in 27 days it gained 22.5 inches of growth. Sherry

My 1116 of 2006 was 370 inches at day 79 - Sept. 15 and 14 days later on Sept. 29 was 382. 12 inches in 14 days. Doesn't seem like much but adds a lot of weight per inch in those measurements.
