I have a 38" pmpk that rotted on the vine yesterday, will the seeds be of any use? They looked to be pretty good size. Also, how do you dry them or whatever you do to preserve until spring 08. I'm trying to look on the bright side no pmpk on this plant but, maybe some seeds. Now I am down to only 1 pmpk. One will be a success for my first year. Thanks for any info.

just get seeds from one of the 1000 lbers in november on the seed exchange board, throw them out or toast and salt them

Yes, ask for seeds here, seed exchange message post. Send a bubble envelope inside of a bubble envelope w/postage addressed to you, the person you send it to will send you back the seeds in that envelope, along with a thank you note.
