I getting vine bores hatching now, at the end of August here in RI. Is there something to treat the soil with in the fall, so the ones I missed won't overwinter and come back to haunt me in the spring?
Thanks Bob

I have been tilling the soil in the fall and applying a granular grub killer (for lawns) and watering it in deeply. Not sure how effective it really is, but I like to think it helps!?

When I pull the plants out can they go into the compost pile? It will be a new hot pile.
