I was 11 years old in 1984 and couldn't believe the size of the monster i had grown in my back yard. Mid august, unable to bear the suspense of the unknown weight, I gatherd the family and a pair of bathroom scales and carefully made my cut. A whopping 80 lbs! I was so proud:)

This is my first season growing Ags. Ive grown prizewinners in the past and one generic Atlantic Giant last year. It weighed some where between 350 and 4 something. I didnt know anything about Atlantic giants and actually had three plants growing on one mound. Ill let ya know when the seasons done but it looks promising so far besides for some major setbacks.

615 lbs. in 2004. I'm not counting a year that I threw some generic A.G. seeds in the ground, and didn't have much of a clue what to do.

783 DMG last season. I set about 6-8 fruit and split every single one...ha ha. I don't think 783 is in the cards on my one stumpless plant this season, but hopefully I'll grow a solid fruit.

This is my first year and I have 3 growing. Right now they stand at 73#, 53#, and 127#. That is way better than I expected to do. Everyone thinks they are so big, which makes me proud and sad. Sad because I know how big Giant Pumpkins actually get. Proud because the biggest one weighs more than I do!

I didn't know about AGs until last fall, when I met this site and the NHGPG site. Last year I grew Big Max's, 5 x 80-90#s, 4 x 100#s, and 1 at 117#. This is my 1st year w/4 x AGs and 1 x 2006-117# Kearns (BigMax). Also 1st time managing the vines, trying to manage. kevin
