I have 2 main vines, & a pumpkin setting on each. 1st vine has 30" diam pumpkin, 2nd has a 15" diam pumpkin. Both of these set on the vine right next to where a secondary vine is coming out..I mean like 1" from the secondary vine the stem of the pumpkin starts.. 15" pumpkin secndary vine is 2' long the 30"pumpkin secndry vine is just starting. I read about bury them? Cutting them off? What do I do, if anything?

Cut them off, they will be in the way once your pumpkin starts to grow.

also cut off the leaf at that node if you haven't already, it will scratch the pumpkin
