About 15 minutes in the am and 15 min. in the evening. Should I be watering less? Thanks for the help and tommorow I will post pictures. 97f in Bakersfield, Ca Terry

Depends a lot on the soil structure/type. Temperature & humidity too. Coupled with the fact we don't know the precipitation rate of your sprinkler & any answer we could give would be a lousy guess.
Set a tuna fish can (or similar) in the path of the sprinkler. Giants need about 1 inch per week. How much accumulated water are you delivering per 15 minutes cycle?

Bakersfield is basically in the desert it is better to water deeper and less often, so your roots go deep, if you have shallow roots, especially out there they can get burnt, so if you can water less often, but more volume, and mist the leaves a few times in the after noon if/when they start wilting
