Noticed this in one of the grower diaries,anyone used them?Very much trouble?Where can you purchase one?

If your drawing from a pond you should try to keep it off the bottom a bit as not to suck up all the scum on the bottom, these can be purchased at hardware or plumbing supply houses, Don't buy anything smaller than 1/2 hp though. Simmer is a good brand which is available north america wide.

I use one and it works great. Im not sure of the brand Ill check tonight. I havent had to use it too much this year because weve been getting a lot of rain. Mine actually pumps into 4 55 gallon barrels which are at least 300 feet from the pond up a hill. Ill check the brand I payed 150 bucks and got a great deal.
