Id let the one at 11 feet grow a little bit and see which pumpkin is in a better spot and growing faster. Cheap charts or a close eye on both pumpkins.

Hey, guvner....a careful record of both on a daily basis might help you decide....which was bigger at 10 days after pollination....which one is putting on the inches and pounds faster on a same day after pollination basis...which one looks better to you??? Common theory for a monster, is at least 10 ft from stump. Lots of things to consider. Prbly not much help, but....Peace, Wayne

You can grow 1000 lbs at 8 feet.
1502 Wallace - 14' 1469 Checkon - Not Reported 1458 Whittier - 11.5' 1450 Wallace - 15' 1446.5 Werner - 14' 1446 Eaton - 10' 1443 Palmer - 14' 1432 Carlson/Peterson - 19' 1420.5 Larue - 11' 1407.3 Wolf - 11' 1385 Daletas - 23' 1373 Dueck/Papez 13' 1370 Rose - 13' 1369 Slusarek - 16' 1367.5 Rose - 15' 1355.5 Marion - 6'
There we have it. One fruit in the top 30 (no time to type them all) was grown less than 10' out. Three in the top 30 were grown at 11' & a few others at or less than 11 feet.
If you like the set then grow it.
