This is just me thinking out loud. Remember a few days back, Trump tweeted “ I will never forget the Republican Senators who don’t support me” The Senate over and over quashed the House’s bill mainly over individual entitlements, citing too much money. All along Trump remained on the side lines more focussed on Golf and alleged fraud. After the bill is passed, Trump delays and then says the amount needs to be $2000. Knowing the Senate and in particular Leader McConnell are opposed to this, he now pits himself against a very powerful man who declared President elect Biden won the election. Mitch and the Republican Senators either stick to their guns or cave like a cheap lawn chair. I don’t think they will. I see the right POV on this and most think money is being thrown at any cause regardless of merit and enough is enough.
This is almost the end of it. IMO, Pence I think won’t read the electoral results on January 6, leaving it to SCOTUS to appoint an alternative only delaying the inevitable. But what do I know.

Maybe it is what we need to get a viable third party. Trump has the money and connections to make it happen. Lots of conservatives are fed up with do nothing RINOS.

Just remember who it was that blocked those 2000 dollar stimulus checks. The Grim Reaper, Mitch McConnell!
