Tremor, I was working area patrol at the prison and seen the head Teacher (GrOunds Keeper supervisor of inmates also) and we where standing in the ware house and I happend to look over and see like 30 diffrent kinds of Lesco fertz and stuff stacked almost to the roof, lol. It surprised me, first thing i thought of was you, I ask the teacher Where he ordered from, and he said he orders from a place down near Clevland Ohio somewhere..... Heck Tremor, I didnt think the company u work for was that big!! I thought wrong. He also told me the state of ohio prison system(all over the state 42 prisons)had a contract with Lesco if i understood hime right. He also said if he ever had a question about how much Fert to use , when to use it, what the mix is, ect ect, he said all he has to do is call and they answer his question with the right question with out hesitation, lol,,,,,Hmmmmmm So you lesco guys no ur stuff i take it. Just thought Id share this story with ya. Brooks

Thanks for the story Brooks.
It is interesting the strange places we turn up nowadays. LOL
We have grown a bit in the 15 years I've been with Lesco. We were breaking ground on a new fertilizer plant in Martin's Ferry, OH the year I started. Today it is the largest & most productive plant of it's kind on the planet.
We often bid on & are awarded various State "purchase contracts". This is probably how your friend purchases materials through the inside sales force in the home office in Strongsville. These contacts are a challenge because the agreements are for 12 months during which time either party could take a shellacing depending on the cost of energy which greatly influences the cost of raw materials & freight.
We also have around 250 of the Service Centers such as the one Mike found. I started with Lesco in a Service Center in '89 & opened my first one in '92. I left that division 5 years ago for straight road sales & enjoy it too. Especially now that the back is gone. LOL
