I have not been able to find bulk cornmeal for sale. The Farm supply store has corn feed mixed with molasses. Would that be good? The corn is pretty much in whole kernels but smashed up a little. I have found corn flour in bulk at the grocery store that is used to make tortillas. Is that as good as cornmeal? Doc, I sent you an e-mail asking about this as well but posting the question here for a larger audience.
Thanks and good luck starting those seeds!

Jim......Funny how complete information in a question can change the answer. Dispose of my Email answer. Please post future questions here on the board so I need not waste time like this again. That way all can see the same question.
Use the ground corn meal not cracked corn.

Thanks Doc and sorry about the wheel spinning.
For clarification. Is it OK to use Corn "flour" or does it have to be corn "meal"?

The books all use the terminology corn meal, kelp meal, fish meal, alfalfa meal and so on. I do not know the answer to your question.
I do know that corn meal is in most grocery stores......as well as some feed mills where animal food is made. Give the words corn meal to Google and you come up with many sites to investigate.

I have been going to feed stores to find bulk cornmeal also, which most of them have. However, then they tell me it is "corn glutin meal" used as a crabgrass control. None of them have corn meal, or at least not the kind of corn meal used to make muffins. Or isn't the baking corn meal what we are after? I am posting this message just to make people aware of "corn meal glutin" so there won't be an accidental killing in the pumpkin patch.

Half way between my home and somewhere I find myself in the heart of the Pennsylvania Dutch, Amish and Menenite community. The first major grocery store I checked yesterday had bulk bags of corn meal twenty and fifty pound bags. Meat processors who make Paun Haus or Scrapple use a lot of corn meal. They do not buy one pound bags. Maybe this will help some of you find it.
If you give two words to Google...corn meal... you will get 860,000 listings with a half dozen or more places to get it on the first page.
