Anyone use this as a foliar spray? I recently bought the SR430 Stihl mister blower and has a 3.7 gallon tank. Wondering how many ounces per gallon I should mix. Thanks.

Todd, whatever you spray, you want to test the pH & ppm. You don’t want to burn your leaves.

Todd, I used it at 1oz per gallon but did not adjust PH. I did always test the PPM and would like to keep it 250ppm-300ppm.

Everybody's always worried about fertilizer 'burn', so follow the directions on the label of the company that is hanging its reputation on its product:

'Growth Products 0-0-25 Liquid Potassium is a concentrate potassium fertilizer solution made from the highest quality technical grade potassium carbonate. Liquid Potassium provides you with 100% soluble potassium for immediate platn and turf uptake through both foliar and root feeding. Liquid Potassium can be applied throughout the growing season to correct potassium deficiencies quickly. As a fall fertilization product, it provides the maxiumum amount of potash in solution, and will help to improve stress tolerance from drought, winter and traffic. Since all nutrients are in a soluble form, turf can respond with a few days after application. No agitation is required.

5 oz per 1000 sq ft delivers 1/8 lb K
11 oz per 1000 sq ft delivers 1/4 lb K
23 oz per 1000 sq ft delivers 1/2 lb k
46 oz per 1000 sq ft delivers 1 lb K Growth Products 0-0-25 Liquid Potassium 2.5 Gallons';

Yes, varying intensities and concentrations, depending on what YOU wanna do and there is no mention of PPM, anywhere.
You may also be walking around a lot depending on how long 3.7 gallons take to dispense, unless you also have another irrigation system in place, whether Whizzers or drip lines; Occasionally, I've seen that it doesn't matter what the amount of water is that you mix a product with (not sure of the MDL, or, lol, Minimum Lethal Dose, lol) as long as it's adequate to dispense the product properly, as in 3.7 gallons with what intensity of the product in it that YOU desire - as was said, and I say, go 'middle of the road' until we ALL know better - eg

Why would this be better than potassium sulfate? Cheaper I'm guessing and 0-0-50. You can get solution grade powder.

It's funny to look back even a few weeks and see what I thought was so important THEN, lol. It just seems that converting everything to 300 parts per million is not a plausible way of doing it all and IDC, but I did then, but if directions say this and you say that, and anyone whom has asked a question is instantly mesmerized by 'PPM' and just goes along with it, that is up to them, I guess. If a product has seven chemicals in it, such as a fertilizer of any kind, if you bypass the directions and go with your own concentration of said fertilizer, is 300 PPM OF the ENTIRE fertilizer going to be enough? I guess that's what I'm getting at - using too little of a fertilizer/fungicide, etc. based on what another, well-respected grower may have recommended at one time years ago might be in need of an update, IDK. I'll lay off of any '7 to 10 days' recommendations for now, too, lol---
I should not care so much, but using too little could be simply reducing one's results and gains - the purposes of using any product to begin with. I could not get the #s to work in my favor just now for 20 minutes, lol, so, maybe a topic for down the road and you keep growin''em big and I'll TRY to do the same (*_*)

You probably don’t want to use 0-0-25 until your fruit is set. I like to wait until my pumpkin is about 2 weeks old until I start “pushing it” with more K. This approach assumes that you have adequate potassium in your soil already.
