Question for those of you growing in a green house. What is the best option for cooling with water foggers, misters,or some type of sprinkler? And if possible what brand of your preferred option Thank you.

97pounder!

Centennial Colorado

My friend Chad New grows in a greenhouse. He uses swamp coolers and misters. Chad and I use drip works for misting. I think he used greenhouse megastore for the swamp cooler. Check out his youtube channel.

I love Chad's but really love what Ruben from Italy and the Patons from England are doing. Its a high pressure system that comes out as mist but mostly keeps the leaves dry. On top of the top of the ventilation systems they also use! All run from a computer or their phones.

i have a question(s) for one day if i myself do a greenhouse - if you have a misting or fogging system in place does that reduce the temperature of the GH due to evaporative cooling or due to the temperature of the cooling water to begin with, or both? Does that water need to be expelled from the GH or is it thought of also as watering for the plant(s)?
just wondered - eg

Through evaporation.liguid h20 to gas absorbs energy which cools air temp.

shade cloth is another non-water option for folks that I hadn't seen suggested.

Thanks, you two and I thought of this just now what about
TIMED shade cloth, such as: you know how a lot of cold frames have automatic closers/openers on them - well, to have one piece of shade cloth on each half of the roof and have it pulled on by ropes to position it according to the time of day would be really...here it is...wait, don't look too far ahead, now...!!!cool!!! aaahhh...
it could be like a car cover off in the spring and back on again in the fall. And, it could be any BLACK plastic or fabric if not shade cloth...
PS---the halves don't half to be (lol) from the middle to the edges - from the midpoint (or even one end) to the ends would work as well---eg

Oh, there you go, 'cause AGs do need all the sun they can get, minus any sweltering heat by us trying to ironically protect them and reduce wind and insect damage, etc. eg
