Hi, Just wondering what you all think is best for watering. I have used a sprinkler method - over the top of all plants which does get water everywhere, but doesn't it dilute or wash away the pest control chemicals - warrior? I was thinking to install one of those hoses that ooze water or bleed water and lay it parallel to the main vine. I know this is a pretty basic question, but I'm a newbee with 4 decent not hugh pumpkins coming and they need more water than I'm giving.

Many of us use drip tape spread across the whole patch, but it's too late to install that this year, so think about planning for next year. Spraying doesn't really get the water into the soil and to the roots like drip tape does, it's inefficient as much of it tends to run off, pool or evaporate, so it's generally used as a supplement.
