I keep hearing about daily spoon feeding. how much are you actually giving? I'm super new to all of this. Right now all i have is some 10-30-20 and some ammonium nitrate. I realize I'm not optimizing this, but all I had were some generic seeds and an enthusiastic 5 year old :).

If your soil nutrients were correct at the beginning of the season possible 1 tsp per day for 1000 sqft, if you have a fruit that is growing well switch to a fertilizer low in N medium in P higher in K

Thanks. I didn't do a soil test this year, but plan on getting one this fall and planting a cover crop.

I recommend untested soils use a water soluble tomato fertilizer, Cal/Mag or UREA Mate
