Crushed oyster shells (cheap on the west coast) are great for adding calcium and micronutrients.

Yup, crushed oyster is what we have been adding for the past few years. Only problem is it takes forever for them to break down but they sure help open up the clay soil!

Takes along time for them to become available. Calcium Nitrate and Calcium Sulfate along with other forms of calcium are more readily available

I had a bag that I used to give to my chickens back in the day.... I put some in each of my tomato planting holes.. not sure if it helped but thought it was a good use.
