It's in many fertilizers but I don't know how strong you could go with it

You can apply boron as a foliar spray, but you need to be extremely careful in the amount you use. Borax is 10% boron. This article recommends foliar treatment .10-.25 lbs per ACRE(!!!). That's 1-2.5 lbs Borax. Per acre.
I would give Western Labs a call before spraying.

Like VTSteve says. John and Harry at western labs have held my hand the past couple years. I've learned so much talking with them. These guys love pumpkins and have been working with some of the best growers out there for over 20 years. If you have a question, there's a really good chance they have the answer.

And one thing I am doing this year that I've never done before is spoon feeding boron twice a day. My tissue tests and plant tell me things are working well.;)

Ya Chris...spoon feeding...are you applying at low dose foliar, or in the drip lines? I've got some (solubor) and haven't tried it yet, even though my reports say I am low.
Thanks Chris.
