Happy Easter to everybody!
This year I’m going to set a misting system to cool plants during hot days.
What do you think should be the best temperature to start it? Probably 90F?
How long should the misting last to properly cool pants, but avoid fungal infections?
Thanks in advance

Humidity also plays a factor. low humidity and bright skies will burn plants. I have had to mist when temps are in the 70's deg F.

I mist in Northern California. Also use shade cloth.

I don't mist here. Use drip line and a shade over my pumpkin. Already had our first 90 degree yesterday. Hi Suzy, I grow pumpkins in Sloughhouse as well. Would be interested in meeting you and maybe compare "notes". This is just my 2nd year growing. If so contact me at neaner60@gmail.com.
