I have been growing in the same spot for 5 years..no choice. I was thinking of adding 5 yards per plot (500 sq ft) of leaf compost mix(leaf compost with top soil. 75/25 mix) to rejuvenate The soil..make it young again..is this a reasonable strategy? My soil always tests well..but I am of the thought that plants love newer soil..let me know what you guys think? Mark

Sounds like a plan. If you have a lot of worms in the leaf compost, you have a lot of bio diversity, which is what you are aiming for.
Your alternative is to apply something like Biotamax.
