Ca:Mg ratio is 8.3 to 1 > is this a bit high ?

Adding K will tweak it down to the 6 or 7:1 range which is even better. And you could use the potash anyway.

Sulfate of Potash 0-0-50 @ 2.5 Lbs/M.

I don't go along with the very low K recommendations I've been seeing. Low K is low K. Mg & C can always be brought back up with a bit of dolomitic limestone & there is nothing wrong with that. It's not like your pH is too high.

Then it's all good.

Thanks Steve. You have been a great help. I will be getting some sulfate of potash. I am unclear on the amount though. I can add Dolomitic Limestone or CMS Calcium Magnesium Sulfate this week.
