I have been going through diaries and looking at old posts trying to figure out a way to get warmed water to my plants as well as a way to more evenly water and get PM under control. My patch is on a slop, guessing 25-35 degrees. Two of the plants will be starting at the top of the slope. I would like to use a 250 gallon tank, which would be in the upper corner of the top of the patch. The tape that I would like to use requires up to 10 PSI. It sounds like in order to achieve this I would need to raise the tank up quite a bit. I really don't want to need to climb a ladder every time I need to fill the tank. Could I use a water pump to accomplish this? If so what size, type, and brand would work out the best? Would there be a better option? Sorry so long. KathyS

This has been working good for me. I would recommend a pump just for the fact that you can also hook a hose to along with the drip. I have had one like this for 3 years worth every penny. You can redirect the extra pressure back into the tank. More pictures in my diary

Darren in the famous foot photo you have a line that appears to be going into a pipe. Is this to deal with over flow? Or pressure.

Also, Do you need to use some sort of covering over the pump?
