How do you apply your calcium nitrate and how much do you use in say 600 or so square feet of soil? One of my plants is a bit slow and I thought that I would try some out. The main vine is only about 7 feet. How would you reccomend applying it?

I'm not saying what I did was proper, but, here's what I did.
Appx. 2 cups of calcium nitrate (15.5-0-0) in about 5 gallons of warm water. water it in with a watering can around the base and main vine. I did this about once or twice a week for a couple weeks on a couple plants. I overdid it a bit on one of the plants temporarily by the look of the leaves but it didn't affect fruit set, so I'm guessing I can push it even harder than what I did.

300 g over entire patch should be safe

I did about the same as Andy, but a differant mix rate. I put about 2 cups (around 2 lbs) of cal nitrate in my 250 gallon holding tank and over head watered over the entire patch.
