my plant is at 6 ft , i see on hollands sight & toms sight that the firt program suggests spraying calcium starting june , Im just wondering if the calcium might be a bit harder on leaves & why use calcium now instead of waiting untill middle july when pumpkins are on vine ?

Cuball I think you have it backwards. The fruit cannot absorb anything. Calcium moves from the roots and leaves into the fruit.
