Just wondering how far the roots expand out from the perimiter of the stump and the vine and how far out we should fertilize around it?

Hi there. My roots right now are 20 ft. from the plants stump i found this out when burying weeper hose and turning soil.but i think the manure will take care of those creaper roots from the main stump.I hand water a 10 ft sq. around the stump when i fertilize. later on in the summer when plants are huge i use overhead wataring to cover the whole patch but only do so once every two weeks or so due to the effert it takes to apply spray afterwords. hope this put some insight into your question. good luck John G.
