My spring test showed that I could use a little boron, (.5 oz needed for 1000 sq ft ). So I would need 2.0 ounces for my 4000 sq ft patch. Can anyone tell me how much borax I would need ?
I would prefer to use smaller doses through my sprayer a few times through the remainder of the season, but am clueless on how much. Do I even need borax if I am spraying neptunes fish and seaweed ? Any help would be appreciated.

A few years ago, I was told by someone who I felt was quite knowledgeable, to use Borax - 2.3 lbs of 15% Boron per 10,000 sq. ft.

Careful Boron can kill leaf growth...

It was a drench, as part of the spring pre-season soil ammendments.

Thank you, I may run a small dose through my drip tape.

The borax I used this year was 11% so if you need .5 oz then you would take .5 / .11 = 4.55
Therefore if your borax is 11% boron you would need 4.55 of borax to satisfy your need.
Not enough in fish and seaweed to overcome a soil deficiency.
Good luck

I used Solubor this spring. I bought it on Ebay and for me it was easier to spray on to the soil with a pump sprayer.
