Is there a tripod type sprinkler; that I can just set up with a hose and water my pumpkins with plenty of coverage?

Before I switch to drip tape, I had an adjustable, telescopic one that worked good. I think I purchased it at a job lot store. The sprinkle itself is adjustable also for coverage. It was inexpensive made by Gilmour. You can probably find one at the home improvement stores or a hardware store.

Maybe North Shore will see this, he uses a nice overhead system. I think just a couple of them will cover a big area.

Toro 570 series shrub sprinklers on 3' risers. (12' or 15' radius pattern)

I copied Vince's system but only use 2 heads per plant and overlap them a bit in the middle.
