This is the growth hormone that farmers in China have been using on their watermelons for extra growth. It has become somewhat infamous for causing watermelons to crack open due to too rapid growth.Forchlorfenuron has been approved in the US for use on kiwi and grapes. The only source I have been able to find sells it for $494 plus shipping for a kilogram. That is way more than I need and more than I can afford. So I am wondering if anyone is interested in sharing a purchase or if perhaps someone knows where I am able to purchase a smaller amount. My email is: coolvol@comcast.net

Tennessee, thats the first time I have heard of forchlorfenuron, so I googled it and here is a PDF file all about it.

I understand the first parts about what its saying about what forchlorfenuron does, but the last couple pages your gonna need someone like Joe Ailts explain the rest. LOL

Richard B, the best thing you can do for yourself is to go to the top of the home page and click on User Settings and add amelio to your ignore list. Its the best thing Ive done this year.

I tried out Forchlorfenuron on one Plant last Year and I got no Fruitset on this Plant.
I don't know if Forchlorfenuron was the Reason.
The dosage of a few ppm is not easy.
